Nikki Haley is getting into the media business.

The former Republican presidential hopeful, South Carolina governor and UN ambassador is joining SiriusXM in a deal that will see her host a new weekly politics show for the satellite radio giant.

Haley will host Nikki Haley Live on the SiriusXM Triumph channel 111. Episodes will debut on Wednesdays at 8 AM, with the first episode set for Sept. 25. The show is slated to run through next year’s presidential inauguration as of now.

“Each week Haley will analyze and simplify the week’s most significant headlines – including the upcoming election, hotspots around the world, U.S. policy, and even some music and entertainment – offering her insights and engaging in conversations with key figures, SiriusXM said of the program.

It will also include guests and callers to discuss the week’s news.

“The American people are smart. They’re sick of distractions in DC and noise from the mainstream media. They want to know what the issues are and how the solutions will impact them. I’m excited to partner with SiriusXM on a show that breaks down the policies and empowers them with the facts,” said Haley in a statement.

Haley earlier this month also joined the global communications and consulting firm Edelman as vice chair.
